This was my favorite book of the series. I know Briggs isn't going to bust out any hot hot sex between Adam and Mercy, but ever since they got together, I've been waiting for them to get more time together that was interrupted by the pack or a kidnapping. This book surely delivered on that time. I also had a hard time sticking with all the fae detailed in the previous books. She scaled back this time and used Mercy's heritage to make the magic more interesting and easier to follow. And yes I teared up a little at the end. Now just give me some Adam and Mercy Jr's and I'll be a happy camper. ps. Briggs, I wouldn't be mad if you decide to through some descriptive boning our way. Not one bit.
